Senior Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Engineer

We’re entering a pivotal phase of technological expansion and are actively recruiting a seasoned Senior Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Engineer (m/f/d) to enhance our technical depth.

Specializing in bespoke rolling stock engineering solutions for sustainability, we focus on elevating the reliability, availability, and maintainability metrics across global railway projects — locomotives, passenger trains, metros, and infrastructure “yellow” machines. With a newly established, state-of-the-art engineering hub in Serbia and Switzerland, we are scaling our operations to serve an extensive and demanding clientele across Europe, the USA, and the Middle East. This is a highly targeted opportunity for experts in RAM engineering to join our elite technical team and contribute to groundbreaking projects in sustainable rail transport.

Your Responsibilities

•    Lead data-driven analysis of Life-Cycle Costs (LCC) and Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) metrics for new build rolling stock projects, turning metrics into actionable insights.

•    Conduct cutting-edge risk assessments using RBDs, FTAs, and FMECA, aligning these analyses with the company’s strategic goals.

•    Develop and implement industry-leading Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies tailored to optimize our new rolling stock assets’ performance and lifespan.

•    Spearhead Supply Chain Management (SCM) from an engineering vantage, focusing on procuring mission-critical components and optimizing inventory for new builds.

•    Drive the digital transformation in rolling stock maintenance and fleet management, leveraging next-gen technologies like IoT and machine learning to boost efficiency.

•    Engage directly with our global customer base, using field data to refine our RAM/LCC models and maintenance strategies across Europe, the USA, Africa, and the Middle East.

Your Profile

•    Advanced degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering, aligning with the technical rigor required for senior roles.

•    Extensive professional experience, particularly in data-driven analysis and risk assessment; exceptional newcomers are also considered.

•    Mastery of engineering software and methodologies such as LCC, RBDs, FTAs, and FMECA, critical for senior-level responsibilities.

•    Specialized maintenance and reliability engineering expertise, ideally focusing on rolling stock or similar high-stakes sectors.

•    Direct experience in rolling stock or aerospace, especially in new builds, is a distinct advantage for meeting senior-level expectations.

•    Uncompromising commitment to quality and detail, proven ability to manage tight deadlines and high-pressure scenarios.

•    Forward-thinking, technologically savvy, and goal-oriented, aligned with company growth and innovation objectives.

•    Superior communication and teamwork skills; fluency in English essential, German proficiency advantageous.

Your Benefits

•    A highly competitive salary package complemented by comprehensive allowances, offering an excellent reward for your expertise.

•    A workspace located in one of the most picturesque parts of the country, specially designed with a modern aesthetic and complete with gym facilities for work-life balance.

•    The flexibility to work remotely, with the possibility of 70%-100% home-office arrangements to ensure you can work in a way that suits you best.

•    Fully compensated global business travel opportunities, offering the chance to gain international exposure and experiences.

•    An unparalleled chance to evolve and thrive in a stimulating engineering environment, working alongside premier clients from various industries worldwide.

As an equal opportunity employer, we foster a stimulating, open workplace that promotes teamwork, fairness, and respect. We are committed to pushing the boundaries and creating a diverse and inclusive environment.

Let’s move the world together! If you share our passion for rolling stock engineering and wish to join our innovative and dynamic team, we encourage you to send your CV electronically in English.
